Cannon Elementary School!!

and meaningful school project!!

Project Description:  Cannon Elementary will be selling ceiling tiles to Cannon scholars to be painted and displayed on the ceiling throughout Cannon Elementary School.  Several tiles, decorated by Mrs. Highfill, are on display in the library and will be in the school’s main hallways soon.

Purpose:  This is a fundraising project to raise money for Cannon Elementary and the money will be used to help purchase materials for our STEM program.  In addition, this project is a way for Cannon scholars to help enhance our campus and show their interest in STEM subjects.

Project Details:  If you would like to purchase a ceiling tile:

·      Please complete the attached order form and Project Planning Sheet and return it to school with your money. The cost is $18.00 per tile.

·      After the Project Planning Sheet is approved,* a plain ceiling tile will be delivered to all scholars as the orders are received.  

·      After the scholar paints the tile at home and returns it to school, it will replace an existing ceiling tile in the school in the Cannon hallways.

** Scholars will be provided with suggestions and guidelines for painting an appropriate and creative design.  All designs must be approved by campus administrators.

What a wonderful way to commemorate your child’s 2012-2013 school year!  These tiles will remain for years to come for all students (former, current, and future) to enjoy! 

Please complete and return the attached order form with payment by Friday, April 5th.

Please draw your STEM design idea in the space below and return it with your ceiling tile order form to the office.  All designs must receive approval from campus administration.  Be creative! Be original! Do quality work!
